My top 3 bloggers

Sitting down about to start writing about my top 3 blogs when I see an interesting post by Martin on Facebook. Knowing that Martin’s posts are always worth a read, I just had to check it out. This left me faced with a massive dilemma, why you may ask? Because said post of Martin’s was actually a link to someones blog, which immediately jumped to my top 3 (after I thought I had finally narrowed my list down to 3 – I was now back to 4!)

So, what better way to start off my top 3 than with said dilemma causing blog.

John Murray

This blog belongs to John Murray. Why did it initially catch my eye, well the humour for one, there is nothing better than reading someones blog and finding yourself laughing the whole way through (I wish I had this talent). Then there is the overall quality of the blog, it is well laid out, easy to navigate, plenty of links to keep you informed and engaged, and interesting pictures to gain your attention initially. John’s writing style is sophisticated, yet easy and open. I really enjoyed his comment about accountants and their spreadsheets showing the expenses associated with fishing (I had to have a giggle about this as this is definitely something I would do – what an accounting nerd!). John may be a mature aged student (or the geriatric of the class as he calls himself) however he doesn’t seem to have any difficulty using technology and could probably give some of us younger ones a run for our money.

Katrina Brown

My next blogger in my top 3 is Katrina Brown AKA Farm-her Brown. You could say that humour was again the drawing factor for my attraction to Katrina’s blog. She is witty and I love her little play on words. Her writing is always interesting, her assignment work is of high quality and her blog looks amazing. My heart is always drawn to the countryside and this is probably another one of the reasons that I enjoy reading Katrina’s blog so much. Not to mention the beautiful photos Katrina is featuring on her blog from KM Photography.

Dannielle Bradley

Finally, last but not least is Danielle Bradley or Dani’s blog. I have been following Danielle’s blog since before the start of term. Why have I been drawn so strongly to Danielle’s blog? Because I feel as though I can relate. The mum life struggles, the PeerWise addiction, and the perfectionist tendencies. My blog features the words ‘surround yourself with assets, not liabilities’ and a good friend of mine once said ‘good people attract good people’. This is probably why this blog is so motivating for me, to see others working hard, not being complacent, and striving for more than just a ‘pass’. Danielle is an active blogger and her posts are always so open and honest, it is refreshing!

Why don’t you check out these blogs, they are definitely worth following. When you have please leave a comment with links to your top 3 blogs, as I am sure there are plenty more amazing blogs out there that I am yet to set my eyes upon.

  1. Wow Tash I am honoured to be one of your top 3. Can I just say how glad I am to not be the only one trying to juggle mum duties, uni and everything else in between! There seems to be quite a few of us on this journey together and it makes it all seem much less daunting!
    Loving your blog too!

  3. Wow, feeling a little overwhelmed right now. So much blog love!
I never expected to feature in anybody’s top 3 (let alone 3 people’s top 3).
Thank you, and I hope that I do not disappoint as the term progresses.

    Tash 🙂
